Class of 2025 Application Now Available

Applications are now open for the 33rd class of the Sports Journalism Institute. Students must be currently enrolled in a university to apply.
“It’s hard to believe this will be our 33rd class,” SJI co-founder Sandy Rosenbush said. “If someone had told Leon and me back then, when we first started talking about a program that would bring more people like us into the business, that we’d still be walking the same path three decades later, I think we might have run the other way. But if that had happened, we’d have missed one of the most fulfilling journeys you could ever imagine."
‍All applications must be completed online, and once students click on the application tab, they will see a checklist of materials that must be included with the submission.

A couple of tips on clips: If you have samples of deadline writing—particularly covering games on deadline—please be sure you include one or two with your work samples. If you are submitting links, make sure your work is not behind a paywall. If they are, please send as PDFs.
